Papers, 1946-1984 (bulk 1955-1978).

Chiefly correspondence (personal and literary, 888 items) and manuscripts (articles, short stories, a large number of radio talks, a radio play, and two novels), 1946-1984, documenting Milutinovic's struggle to write and publish despite poor health and economic difficulties. Also included are published materials, clippings, diaries, scrapbook material, financial information and audio recordings. The subject matter of the writings is autobiographical to an extent, and includes local history, family lore, contemporary mores, social issues, current events, and such diverse topics as cats, cookery, fishing, gardening, and whaling. A large portion of the collection concerns radio talks which were aired by the Australian Broadcasting Commission. Also prominent are the records of her novel, Talk English Carn't Ya, based on her Yugoslavian husband Milor's experiences and difficulties as an immigrant to Australia.
